Individuals who were harmed, mistreated, or threatened in their home country on account of their race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group or political opinion, may be eligible to apply for asylum in the U.S. To obtain asylee status one must demonstrate past harm or future harm based on a well-founded fear of persecution. The persecutor must be the government or actors the government is unable or unwilling to control. A person’s race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group or political opinion must be one central reason for the persecution.

Our office will help you present your asylum claim at the Asylum Office or in Immigration Court, if you are currently in removal proceedings. Our services include:
